Skin is only beauty deep!

As many of you may know, I have been know to enjoy the movie experience on many occasions. I'm not saying I'm a movie buff or even a critic, I just really enjoy movies and try to diversify my movie selections. That being said I have been very open about my distaste in the Transformers franchise. What?! you say! Yes, I know, sometimes its not about if the movie is even good, just the fact that it was made into a movie that rocks...right? Well in most cases I believe in that logic. For some reason I can see past that with the Spiderman franchise, Back to the Future franchise, geeze even the Die Hard movies are not all that good but damn if I haven't watched them all 100 times a piece! I've been trying to put a finger on this problem I've been having with the Transformer movies. I mean for gods sake Michael Bay craps rainbows! If you don't believe me check out this clip... www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGQsthDNGW0 ... The fact that one of my childhood cartoons was morphed into a live action movie and developed by this one of a kind director automatically means its a hit for me right? Wrong!

A little side note about me is that I work in a sports shop. Everyone knows that I am not particularly known to be a sports fanatic, even though I work at Sports Fanatic. As a kid I never was compelled to watch a game of any sort, never idolized athletes, or really even played a real sport...for those of you who don't believe soccer is a real sport. And now as an adult I find myself finding more flaws in these athletes than ever before. As great an NBA star Melo is, I think hes a thug and never to be confussed as a role model (sorry Orangemen fans!) The list of athletes that I have similar feelings about is long enough for another blog. What does this have to do with Transformers? I'm glad you asked!

Megan Fox was voted most beautiful celebrity it 2008. She has landed cinematic gems like a movie titles "Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen", or her uncredited appearance in "Bad Boys II", or my particular favorite title "Whore" (no that is not made up!). With that shinning resume you can obviously include Transformers I and II. Now at the risk of being superficial and hypocritical I feel you should start by seeing this...

Now, as frieghtening as that image is, I burn this image into your mind because Megan Fox is one of the most self centered, superficial biaches I've ever seen. I realize as a common citizen and that we don't nessisarily see the true colors of celebrities, but I have never seen this human being do anything that was positive towards the human race, or take two seconds to look past her own selfish life to see that beauty is only skin deep. Your realase from Transformers III will be welcomed by yours truely, and I had a few moments of resepct for Michael Bay until he said she has "Charm" and that he "loves working with her". I hope that Megan and Jessica Biel enjoy thier lives stairing into thier magic mirror and wishing for thier hair to grow back or that movie roles will not pass them by because they are "too beautiful".

I must leave you now as I have a date with the next instalment of the ingenious Iron Man franchise!
